Cannes Lion 2016 was the biggest yet. Following on, Dirty Soup and Persuasion PR hosted an evening with some of the festival’s insiders. The discussion, at Soho House Dean St cinema, had our panel delve into the event and bring their insights.
Our panel included David Davies from Cannes Lions itself, Nils Leonard, Nicky Bullard, Malc Poynton and Chad Warner. They looked at and discussed the year’s success stories, offering plenty of debate around the judging itself.
The panel also tackled the rise of VR and newly emerging interactive media and it’s potential to further change the advertising industry, and Cannes itself. And with an ever-expanding list of categories, someone asked if was time to introduce a new one – TV commercials!
With all that in mind, we can't wait for Cannes Lions 2017!
