Dirty Soup teamed up with Gibson at London’s O2 Arena.
Gibson Guitars launched ‘Through The Lens’, a world-class photographic exhibition of rare and vintage music photography. This unique exhibit is now open to the public at London’s O2 Arena - it ran through to January 31st, and we were very happy to be running the music down there.
For the exhibition, Gibson collaborated with 30 of the world’s most respected rock photographers, including Baron Wolman, Neal Preston, Mick Rock, Bob Gruen, Ross Halfin, David Redfern and the late Jim Marshall.
Curated by music photography archivist Dave Brolan, the show came to London following highly successful exhibitions in Berlin, Shanghai, Tokyo, Sydney and Los Angeles. It consisted of 60 prints signed by the photographers, featuring a who’s who of rock royalty and undisputed guitar heroes from B.B King through Hendrix to Slash and Kurt Cobain.
