Raife's record of the week is the soundtrack for Beckett, the soon-to-be released Netflix thriller.
Coming out on @milanrecords, the album features the film’s original music composed by Ryuichi Sakamoto. Also featured is the original song Born to Be by Devonté Hynes - which you can check out on the official trailer.
Raife says - "Sakamoto’s spellbinding track End is my highlight from this wonderful release. It’s hard to describe how much I love Sakamoto’s work. I remember when I was about eight or nine and my dad brought the VHS of Merry Christmas, Mr Lawrence home. It was one of the first times I ever noticed a film score. I still often listen to that soundtrack. Sakamoto's effect on me at such an early age is undoubtably one of the reasons I chose to dedicate my life to music."
