MARTIN SCORSESE TALKS ABOUT THE 'CROSSROADS' NEEDLE DROP IN 'DIE MY LOVE'

The car crash scene in Die My Love felt, for me, like one of the most pivotal moments in Grace and Jackson’s relationship. “Crossroads” is Cream’s reworking of Robert Johnson’s blues classic “Cross Road Blues.” Recorded live in 1968, the song captures a moment of crisis and choice: a lone figure stranded at a crossroads, calling out for help and direction. This scene was undoubtedly one of the most challenging to soundtrack, so receiving such high praise from Mr. Scorsese, as you can imagine, means a great deal. Raife x
