New 4AD signees Brian and Michael D'Addario are back with their second single release for their new label. 'These Words' was produced by Foxygen's Jonathan Rado, and its playful spirit captures Foxygen's retro-leaning inclinations and harks back on The Kinks.
Dirty Soup Recommends... Dream Wife
Dirty Soup Recommends 'Kids' from the debut EP of Brighton based trio, Dream Wife.
After the release of EP01, Dream Wife took The Great Escape Festival by storm in May and we think they are poised for very big things. Their debut LP is in the works - watch out!
Dirty Soup Recommends... William Tyler
Dirty Soup Recommends 'Kingdom of Jones', the new single from guitarist and songwriter William Tyler.
Nashville native William Tyler cut his teeth playing with alt-country veterans Lambchop for over a decade. Later, Tyler branched out to explore his own brand of instrumental guitar music. His 2010 debut Behold the Spirit was lauded for its originality and for pushing sonic boundaries. Fresh new sounds abound on 'Kingdom of Jones', which has piqued our interest for Tyler's upcoming third solo LP Modern Country.
Dirty Soup Recommends... Daniel Wilson
Dirty Soup Recommends 'Wedding Daze', the latest from Michigan based singer/songwriter Daniel Wilson.
Wilson's 'Sinner of the Week' EP is scheduled to be released later this year, and 'Wedding Daze' is the lead single we can't get enough of!
Dirty Soup Recommends... SALES
Dirty Soup Recommends 'Ivy', the latest offering from indie pop duo SALES.
Lauren Morgan and Jordan Shih are SALES - the Orlanda, Florida duo who have self-released a string of excellent guitar soaked singles since 2013. After years of touring, an EP, and plenty of online buzz, SALES are set to drop their self-titled debut LP this week.
