Jacob Allen, a.k.a Puma Blue, creates music that is hard to define. His almost aloof voice floats elegantly above his tunes, which range from jazz to hip-hop to neo-soul. Depending on your mood and the time of day, one of his many influences will raise its head in a majestic way.

Only Trying 2 Tel U, his first single of 2018, was co-produced by Ben Baptie, who has had a hand in shaping sounds for two of our other favourite artists, Moses Sumney and Empress Of.
